Dear Jar head (from an old Navy guy to an ex Marine, or are you ever an “ex” Marine?) To help you get your credentials as a sailor note the following: 1. You never go downstairs, you go “down below”. 2.You never go upstairs, you go “top side”, and you use a “ladder”. You don’t have a kitchen, you have a “galley”. More the next time. My lovely wife of 53 years, Bette, and I pray for your safety every day. Bless you, Bob and Bette
Bob and Bette, points well taken! This boat is so darned nice it is sometimes hard to remember we’re on a boat at all, so I slip into landlubber talk. But when seas get choppy, as they are now, we are instantly reminded of her sea handling capabilities.
